Dell AC adaptor

a foolish man took his laptop away on holiday and has left his adaptor in one of the several places he stayed....
anyone any idea if there is a cheaper alternative to getting a replacement from Dell, either an unbranded multiadaptor type or perhaps just anywhere with cheaper shipping or slightly discounted price.
thanks

Best guess for me would be ebay

There are a variety here, and seem fairly cheap!

I have a brand new one at home that Dell sent me as part of a safety recall. Unfortunately by the time the PSU arrived I had scrapped the laptop.
It is for a Dell Latitude. The model number on the PSU is ADP-70EB. If that is the right one for your laptop then I would be happy to stick it in the post to you as long as you promise me faithfully to donate £10 to a charity of your choice. Send me a PM if you want it.

Mike if theadore does not want this, could I put in a plea?
My Lattitude C840 charger has a doggy contact on the plug where it goes into the back of the PC. I have to jiggle the wire for a few minutes each time that I plug it in to get it to start charging. I was about to seach ebay to look for a cheap replacement.[size=-2] If this post was unhelpful, please tell me.
