I'm back. No go in both shops using the voucher with the 3 bottles for £10, but worked on buying 2 bottles, so only paid £3.50 ish for 4 bottles of wine, choccy bar and small fizzy pop. Which will come out of the fee so I'm not out of pocket at all.

Choccy bar is already in my tum, getting Gap Pizza for dinner and opening a bottle or two of wine to wash it down with. Saving the pop for a day out. Not bad, just as long as I don't get in trouble about the vouchers.

My report has been approved and is in the payments section now. Looks like they don't mind (or didn't notice - they'd have to work out the prices I guess).

I think these jobs are a bit unfair on the member of staff; those of us who bought the 3 for £10 (as OK with the brief) haven't allowed as much room for an upsell by the member of staff had we bought 1/2 bottles.

Can someone let me know how to cancel a job for RE. It's scheduled for tomorrow but I won't be able to do it.

    Thanks

I got that email too....I am not doing it on principal - they did not even have the courtesy to personally answer my email, just a copy and paste to all who asked about it I guess (even though I mentioned other questions in my email they did not even comment on!!)
I haven't even had that email, so I cancelled both mine. I know MSing is never going to make me a millionaire but I am doing it to try and make some cash, so doing lots of jobs that's going to make me a loss is really defeating the object of the whole idea.
Too much month, not enough Cash!

    Thank you very much :)

This is the first job I've released because I am unable to complete it. Does anyone know how badly it will affect me?
  • Have just come back from wine shopping. The first shop didn't accept the voucher as they said they are a different shop (starts with L and rhymes with focal). So I got stung with paying full price for oneof the bottles of wine.
The second shop did accept it so I only ended up paying £2.00 once I get my reimbursement.
Now lets wait and see if I get the full £6.00 reimbursement. I suppose all in all with the fee I have ended up with only paying £1.00 for four bottles of wine and two chocolate bars. Should be enough for tonight anyway. :D
  • omg!!! Has anyone else had a phonecall from a MS company today, pushing assigments on you? (don't want to say who in case this isn't allowed) But they woudn't leave me alone!!

Yeah "they" are so massively on top of people who discuss their work or anything about them online - I've had a few emails (general, not directed at me!) saying one should not discuss anything with anyone apart from them!

This is absolutely true - but I'm not going to say anything more cos last week when I drew attention to fact that Pinecone are a VERY 'private' organisation and warned of problems if Pinecone got wind of any chat about them I was pretty much accused of fabricating a fairy story ! I did take note of the fact that, since I cut and pasted a copy of the relevant comment from Pinecone, nobody has said another word about it. Good job I didn't hold my breathe for a small apology.
