I tend to just leave MSE open on my computer all day so I can check on the alerts thread without having to log on afresh each time. I wander off for quite long periods to do household chores and other things, and just leave the computer on. I don't actually sit here all day... honest!
Don't want to be argumentative but the phrase 'out to grab all that you can get' is a bit... erm... harsh. Maybe you touched a nerve there. The way I look at it is that I need every penny I can get and I have no other way of earning an income so this is what I have to do. It's nice if you work full time that you can earn a bit extra from MSing but for me it's not 'extra' money, it's the 'only' money.
don't worry sc - i am probably on here more than you!!0 -
I must have missed that - I wonder if I can still access the report? I'll try!
EDIT: Have been right back through my report and it doesn't say anything about emailing the receipt. The only thing it says is what it always says - that I should post it in. I think if I don't hear back from my AM shortly I'll just post it in as normal. At least that way they've got it and it proves I was there.0 -

same for me too. i am a trained professional with degree but i was made redundant and my profession has been hit the hardest so no jobs i am trained to do even exist which is unbelievably stressful. i was off work having back surgery when made redundant which makes it even more hurtful and upsetting.
So I am supposed to be the main bread winner. My redundancy covered our rent and bills for 9 months but it is now all gone. So we are living on partners money which only covers our rent and getting small amounts from WFTC (i have a son) and a tiny bit of housing benefit as our rent is soooo much. I have just started mystery shopping to cover emergency money for bills. I am trying to set up my own online business (different work altogether) so fingers crossed I can earn enough to buy some stock to get up and running. I am doing ANYTHING I can to help to feed us as unlike the lucky ones I do not have a full time professional role anymore.
It is demoralising to say the least as I am more qualified than most personnel at the companies I am doing mystery shopping for. I did bar work and the like as a single parent to get my degree then i get my career and this happens. But in reality this forum is great as I have people to chat to and mystery shopping gets me out of the house as well. So at least I have something to focus on.
If you have a full time job just think yourself lucky as some of us are in really desperate situations and trying our hand at anything for our families. I am not snatching everyones work - if something appears on my screen and I can do it I accept it.0 -
Another one on aba-i, not the easiest to refer to however
Brief History of Time author's Surname (dropping the g) Exotic Market.
As usual reregister www.aba-i.co.uk/nl/xxxxxxxx)
xxxxxxx = first and second initials of the store (2 letters also refer to a type of pencil)
I can see 10 nationwide.
My god that took some working out!! :rotfl:0 -

Sorry to be a drag, but someone just posted on the alerts thread about being able to see 10 stores around the country on abai. Can someone please remind me how to do this? When I click on other areas it brings up a list of every town in the country and obviously there isn't a branch of this shop in every one.0

I was referring specifically to GAP, since that was what the OP was asking about.
And sadly I'm apparently too young to buy jeans, if you're referring to those jobs on BARE. :rotfl:
Again I was referring specifically to GAP. I don't think I've been with companies long enough to get enough jobs offered.
Out of pure nosiness, any chance you'd divulge (via PM) the part of Birmingham you're in?
I'm with quite a few of the companies listed, thanks for the advice though.Disabled student desperately trying to earn some money...!0 -

thanks just think school pencils even though i thought the initials were referring to a DIY store :rotfl:I have now added everything I have found in here to ABAi since yesterday and I do not have any work for anyone in my area. This email says you can see 10 nationwide so I do not think I am searching appropriately - how do you do a nationwide search??? thanks everyone0 -
RE: the TNS receipts, you DO have to email them now. On the last page after you've submitted your expenses, it says what email address to send them to and what to include in the email subject line, etc. You'll have to ask your AM as I've not saved it, but if you don't do it quick I'm told you may not get paid. I think there must have been a question as to whether the jobs were actually getting done.
HTH
That's interesting - is this for the 'quickie' supermarkets as well? I've done 2 today and on my print out it still has the full address and tells you to post it. I wonder if htey are phasing it in.Now proud Mumto3 :j0
