im new to ms but i went into gap earlier. i got barred from ALL the food type places i guess becuase i put im a vegetarian. why that means id get barred from ones that i can eat in i have no idea - plus why that means id get barred from the others is also beyond me as i cam still be a customer as most companies sell something i can eat or drink plus i have family who are non veggies. i feel like if i cant even mystery shop in their stores i certainly wont be eating in any of them again!

have any other veggies had the same thing and was it possible to get this sorted out with gap so you can be offered work?
I'm vegetarian, so on Gap am excluded from burger and sandwich shops, although interestingly they keep sending me chicken jobs that they need doing .

I think although places do have veggy options, we're not really their target customers, so they aren't especially interested in our opinions. Which is fair enough I think, as both the chains from which I am barred are places that I avoid eating in, as I don't like their very limited veg options.

If you have other family members (adults obviously) who would like to shop these outlets, then maybe they should sign up too, then they could do these ones? I keep meaning to get my OH to sign up, then he could shop the sandwich shops, as he does eat meat.

Being veggy doesn't ban you from the pizza jobs, so keep checking for these ones, we've had lots of free pizzas over the last few months. By 2 year old son can even point out the pizza hut sign as 'pidda'!

Why is it 'satisfying' to write up a negative report? I'd much rather report back positively as much as is possible. Staff already mostly think MSers are there to catch them out or pick on any minute mistake, which is NOT what we are about IMO.
I think the OP meant that it is satisfying to be given the sort of service that you would normally get, rather than the extra special super treatment that is often given to MSers when they ask for a receipt in burger places.

But sometimes it is satisfying to pick up on bad service, and know that it will be dealt with and other people don't have to suffer it again in the future. It's not catching people out, it's just picking up on staff that don't do their job correctly.

Re Ellie's reply on the Alerts thread - No I dont think it was a rude post, it was my (sleepy headed, half awake) fault for posting on the wrong thread.

I meant to post here as we all should, and deleted as soon as I realised.

Also, ukmonkey was kind enough to answer my question anyway which I appreciate.

RE working again! But still a big fat zero assignments for me. It's a joke really. Sadly, none of the other companies seem to have any jobs in my area otherwise I'd leave!
