Well, I've just been for four meals in two hours and I tell you, it really was not worth the money I've earnt!

I felt like I was in one of those American pie eating contests. And to cap it off, in one place everyone was eating from the cheapo lunch menu and I was like, no thanks I'll have the regular menu, on my lunch break, just fancy a three course meal :rotfl: and want to pay as much as possible. I had three pints of coke already and was like, I'm really thirsty, please can I have a top up (groan). When she brought my dessert, I half expected her to say 'here are your profiteroles, fatty'. I'm sure they weren't but I expected all the other customers were looking at me thinking 'look at that fatty, billy no mates and sat there eating like a pig'.

I'll be going to the doctor soon saying; 'I'm developing a compulsive eating disorder - he'll say, well that's bulimia and I'll say, no its Mystery Shopping'

Moan over - I'll just drink this coffee and hope it does the trick. :rotfl: :eek:

Yeah, as I thought!

I was thinking for a moment that you were getting a week's shopping for free. But then again, knowing RE, it's just be a 50p reimbursement for a tin of beans! haha!

Had a query on a report from RE yesterday - I don't remember seeing the question they asked, originally, so it may have just been added after???
I was expecting a query on the report for the hotel stay we had last weekend as my report was quite scathing...but so far nothing's been said, and the payment has been approved...

Kman I've had a few queries like that, I think sometimes they reword the question quite significantly to get extra information if they werent happy with the original question's response.

Thanks Scubaangel, I'm sure I hadn't seen the question before... I know my wife did a job for gfk last year and they phoned her later saying the client had added some more questions after the job was carried out!! :eek:

I've just got the email from Gap cancelling all my stamp jobs and informing me that I will no longer be able to do them!!! :mad::mad::mad:

Do you think you have to follow this sequence of events - tour, free drink, buy spirit & mixer, food, then play?

I'd probably prefer to do the spirit & mixer later in the visit (as will be starving hungry by then ). That's the way it's laid out in the questionnaire, but not sure if that is RE law.

I'm not sure, from the way it's worded, it looks like the tour should be offered at the beginning, but as they are competitor visits, I'm wondering whether they will offer a tour or not? I'm planning on doing the tour (if offered), free drink (ditto), then spirit & mixer, play slots or tables (depending on which is nearer looks most tempting), meal, then play whichever I didn't do before. Think I would like to do some of the gaming before the meal, as might look strange to turn up at a casino, then go straight to the restaurant.

Have fun. I'm looking forward to it, not decided what to wear yet. On the casino website it says 'dress fashionable' :eek: not sure that we can manage that one.

Obviously, they wouldn't have provided any reasons, but can you think of any - too many queries for the past few jobs/high degree of rescheduling or cancellation/anything else in particular about the stamp jobs you've done in the past ??? It's quite difficult to get around Gap and their ways

I suppose I should be glad they didn't sack me!!!:rolleyes:

Although now I can't do these stamp jobs I'm not going to bother with Gap and I'm making myself redundant!
