    Hi Julie callum!

Am doing my first job on RE next week and they want a photo of the place I'm going to. I presume I should take it after I do the MS, as it's a bit odd to stand outside and do it before? Also my camera phone is crap so I'm going to have to take my great big digital SLR, which is ridiculous - a spy I will never be! LOL

Also JUlieCallum - think you might have meant to post on the alerts post - this is the chat thread. Don't get them mixed up the other way round or you'll get stomped on! LOL.

Since we have a fair few folks online and it's coming to the end of the tax year I thought we could perhaps share our Heroes and Zeroes of Mystery Shopping? (cue trumpets)

Just like all good awards ceremonies, you don't have to give reasons if you don't want!

:A Heroes of Mystery Shopping :A

    In 5... Optimum Contact
Great service, excellent fees but a huge lack of work... for me.

    In 4... GapBuster Apart
Considerably improved service but some Krypton Factor-esqu briefs let the company down.

    In 3... Aba-i
Limited amount of work but good fees and questionnaires are not excessive.

    In 2... GRG

Despite not getting much work from them and sometimes
lengthy questionnaires, they are very quick to complete and the fees good and the payment quick. The customer service is also of high quality.

    In 1... GfK

For provided good fees, relatively quick payment, thorough and accurate briefs and professional service over the phone. My favourite.

Despite a lack of stiff competition, one company outshone all others in their treachory and overcome all odds and boundaries of decency to snatch this award.

We (I) feel that had there been a competition between this company and Joseph Fritzl for Father of the Year, Jospeh Fritzl would be the first find a small dark corner to cower in.

Winning for it's truly appalling behaviour throughout the year, my winner of the 2008 Villain of the Year award goes to....

    Retail Eyes

(I think I got a little bit carried away.)
I'm surprised Tern and Bare weren't on the list. Both of them are pretty good!

i usually take the pic on my phone. i kind of wave it in the direction of the shop and take the photo rather than stand there like david bailey!!

i try to make it look like i pressed the camera by accident!

Yay, Bear seem to have finally decided they like me, been allocated a couple more jobs with them, and I've been offered a job by First Tracking - I know they were mentioned on the other thread but what do the people who've done jobs for them think?

Annoyingly I think I killed my Dads printer last night so will be investing in a new one on my way home from work later.
It’s not worth doing something unless someone, somewhere, would much rather you weren’t doing it.
