    Interesting...thanks...;)
  • I am absolutely livid!!!!!!! RE are not paying me for one of the wine shop visits where I bought two bottles of wine and a chocolate bar because I forgot to write the chocolate bar on the report.
They are not even giving me the chance to re-do that one question.
What a waste of f***ing time and money!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
From now on I am steering away from RE. They are crap! I have a perfect track record with them with over 500 points and they do this to me.
Beware everyone, they are dirty rotten scoundrels.

That is annoying, I would be furious too. I've only just started doing work for RE, but I do find their reports hard work, so am going to be more selective and only pick up a few jobs from them.

For anyone else, who has missed out on the Tern jobs on the alert thread, I couldn't see a link to their sign up on the front page, so here is a link I found by browsing:
    http://www.ternconsultancy.co.uk/jobapplication/apply-online/38_32-38.html

Hope it helps someone. Apologies if it is already on here.
  • Is anyone having problems logging onto Terns page? Trying to look at job board but page cannot be displayed for some reason.

Thanks CTE , was thinking of applying , are they good - in terms of assignments and pay. who would you compare them with , RE?
MG - don't let RE get to you, how very annoying though, i guess they are not calling to nswer queries, its just a straight up....no pay ! Seem to find our phone numbers ok when they want jobs doing.

I've only just applied for Tern, after seeing a few alerts on the other thread. I have to write up a test mystery shop for a jewellers for them, going to the Trafford Centre on Friday, so will choose one of them.

That does seem ludicrous, but I suppose the brief said to buy wine and chocolate, and if you haven't declared that you purchased the chocolate then they are within their rights not to pay how.

However, I'm sure your receipt will have shown it, so why the proofreader didn't use their common sense I don't know, and I feel for you! I assume you have phoned them to explain - I'd also email them to put your disgust across to them.

I wouldn't let one bad experience deter you from them.
