Yes well thats what the council would like, am not to sure, I live near the town but it's a shabby place to go to anyway I just don't understand why people would go there??

The Pleasure Beach, The Tower, Sea Life Centre, three good quality Piers, top entertainment at The Opera House, Summer Season shows, nicely-run hotels and guesthouses, friendly people, good restaurants, St. Annes and Fleetwood close by, Tram network (it's a novelty to new visitors from the ages of 5 to 85), good bus network and infrastructure, tourism-driven council, new Blackpool 'gateway', international class climbing wall, new sea defences, critically-acclaimed artwork on the Prom, a raft of comedians suited to the older generation, and many more quality attractions including the zoo, model village, and numerous 'Krazy Golf' circuits and the like...
