BHS half-price sale

Just got an email from BHS.

Half-price womenswear, menswear, Tammy and childrenswear.
They've also got a Home event on.

Online and instore but I'm having trouble with the online site.

My dd really likes the Tammy clothes so I'm off to my nearest BHS for a wee look.

I do not understand how BHS survived this long never mind in the current climate. My local is vast and always deserted and even though I'm not young and trendy I think their clothes are depressing. Their cafe is like a windowless hospital waiting room and the only thing I buy there are "odd" lightbulbs I can't get elsewhere. But thanks to the OP, I'll see if they've any deals on homewares.

Mrs T, I actually agree with you! My local BHS is always very quiet. I'm surprised they haven't gone under but some of their sale stuff has been great, couple of weeks ago I got a really nice smart winter coat for my DD for 15 quid instead of 40 and at Xmas I got alot of nice costume jewellery for 2 quid instead of 10 quid and upwards for myself.

Not had a chance to go for a look yet but if I find any bargains when I'm in I'll let you know. Will see if the website is working again.

Went to BHS Bexleyheath yesterday it's had a revamp and is very bright and airy but still has the same sad old clothes and weird interior decor for sale
    :p
  • I am always surprised by BHS actually - every now and then you get some nice stuff. I do love the allusions jewellery range -they have some beautiful stuff. You can also get some nice bags and stuff. Def worth a look. Thanks for this! :D

Website does work just very slow to load the pages, forgot it was like that. Instore always seems to have more bargains than online, they are always having reductions.
  • will have a look online - but not much in my child size in the sale.
  • I do like their homewares and often buy items from there, I dont really buy clothes though. I am 27 and hardly ever see anything I would wear.
I usually like their christmas displays, but last years was awful. Likewise the childrens clothes are good but expensive so I usually look when there is a sale but I very rarely get anything.
