Ours came from Marks and Spencer and I can highly recommend it. Even the tiniest lumps in mashed potato make me gag so when we found this I was delighted. It also saves a lot of time and effort!

TIP Cut potatoes into cubes before cooking.
My message to that greedy wunch of bankers:
Debts another fine mess you got us into!

If you see somone who hasn't got a smile, give them one of yours.
  • I ordered one from Amazon just a couple of weeks ago. It's a Kitchen Craft one (the stainless steel one - I think it's the first one on the list when you search for "potato ricer"). It was about £11 and had great reviews, to which I can now add mine - it's excellent.

I love mine when we have mashed potato, they are brilliant. Children think its really nice to be have non lumpy mash, a treat after Daddy made some without the ricer lol, he can't be bothered to mash it properly.

We don't need to do it perfectly - good enough is exactly that GOOD ENOUGH.
