Napster

Hi, can anyone let me know about how napster works (specifically napster unlimited - £9.95pm). It says you can buy and burn albums and single tracks, is this to keep or do they have a life span (i.e. delete after a month) also it mentions downloading to three computers, does this mean that you can download from three computers, but then do anything you like with the music, or that once you've downloaded, and passed it between three computers the music is the 'used up'?

The £9.95 Unlimited means you can download unlimited songs to your pc but you can not burn or put them onto a mp3 player.

if you want to put them onto a mp3 player then you have to go for the £14.95 one and then you can put them onto mp3 player as many times as you want to but to keep them on longer then a month you have to make sure you log your mp3 player into napster as least 1 time a month to make sure then play.

Rememeber you are only renting the songs you dont own them unless you pay the 79p a track then you can burn them to a cd to play for life.

You can play your tracks you have on your napster on up to 2 pc,s as well by downloading the napster software and logging in.

Thanks for that, what are the best options for keeping the tracks for life? are there any per month payments where you can download and keep what you want, otherwise what are the best (i.e. cheapest) legal download sites?

yeah, I used to use I tunes and would like something similar, but I didn't like the fact they limited what I could do with my music (I now don't have any of the tracks I bought from them, this was because I backup my entire music collection every 3 to 6 months and this counts as 1 of the 5 allowed copies!).
