Help ! Got divorced 20 years ago, gave her the house etc, small mortgage, house had a lot of equity. Now after moving numerous times I have received a letter for an outstanding loan that the Barrister/Solicitor had supposed to have taken into the divorce settlement. Anyone got any advice please.

Go to CAB and ask for proper advice.
Generally old loans etc are statute barred if no contact after 6 years but there may be OTHER circumstances here.0 -
Many thanks for your reply, I follow through and see what I can find, hopefully all good.0
