I cant see wilkinsons making redundancies, if business was bad they wouldnt of bought out some of woolies and opening more stores!
Wins so far this year: Mum to be bath set, follow me Domino Dog, Vital baby feeding set, Spiderman goody bag, free pack of Kiplings cakes, £15 love to shop voucher, HTC Desire, Olive oil cooking spray, Original Source Strawberry Shower Gel, Garnier skin care hamper, Marc Jacobs fragrance.

unfortunatley, there may be some redundancies due to a new stock replenshment system which has been introduced. Worse case is that there may be upto 1500 if staff can not be moved into other jobs within stores. It really mainly affects delivery/stock handling staff. Stores are in the process of consulting staff at the moment but were made aware of this new system back in sept/oct 08. Needless to say, wilkos isnt going anywhere and is still going strong, its just moving with the times and technology:rolleyes:

With regards to the redundancies, it was only what the checkout lady told me, when I started a discussion about all the reductions in my basket, rather than an educated statement.
