Will a indecisive G20 summit trigger panic?

With all the "don't expect miracles" atmosphere surrounding the forthcoming G20 summit I am wondering if a feeble weekend of discussions with no decent outcome would unnerve all the people who still think the recession is no big deal. Do you think if the remaining % of people in this country who have been thinking it's all a fuss over nothing, suddenly went out to top up their petrol tanks, store cupboards, withdraw a bit of cash "just in case" it could trigger shortages/panic?

The devaluation of Sterling by about 30% has passed with little more than grumbling about the prices in Spain.

I cannot see a meeting of men in suits followed by press releases that most voters would see as mumbo jumbo, will cause unrest on the streets.
Most people take the attitude that "I don't understand it, my brain hurts, can we talk about something else?"
