Quite a few teachers are reps for Usborne Books too in their spare time. There are no monthly sales targets so you can up your game in the holidays and do less (or nothing) in term time.0

It depends on what other skills you have. I dip in and out of supply teaching, and whilst I am not supply teaching I dip in and out of temping. It's well worth contacting a temping agency a month or so before you are going to want work, to show them that you are organised and keen to ensure you get work. Remember though that students will also be looking for work in the holidays so show yourself as a professional. Have you thought of au pair work, a friend of mine recommended gumtree. Or what about holiday camps, children based and lots of fun. I'm not sure where you would find out about these though... Good luck.0

I only know the ones in my area (Dorset), but try searching "County temping agencies" on google uk, or "County temp jobs". I know that the agencies in my area often put an advert in the local paper for specific temp positions they are trying to fill.0 -

Hi
Are you wanting something along the lines of teaching or something else? How about private tuition?
Lots of small businesses may be looking for extra staff over the sumeer e.g. bouncy castle hire companies often look for staff to help with manning events, for face painting etc
