After a lot of thought i've recently been accepted for a loan from Tesco Finance which will pay the remainder of a bank loan from rbs and some credit card debt.
As I bank with hbos what is the simplest method of paying the amount from hbos to rbs?

    call up rbs or go into a branch. you may be able to do it by cheque too but call them to ask

    You will need to get a settlement figure from RBS before you can settle.

    From my limited knowledge, with RBS you should be able to get this over the telephone too :)

    I know customers who have RBS current accounts can also settle over the phone as long as the money is cleared into their current account but I am not sure if payment can be taken from another bank over the phone. hth
