In a recession, men prefer the chubbier ladies!

Some scientists have argued that during a recession, men desire fuller figured women.
The recession might actually bring one thing that some women can welcome.
Studies suggest that changes in the state of the economy can influence what men find sexually attractive in women—and when the economy’s bad, it’s good to be fat. Or, at least, a tiny bit fatter.
“When the economy is clearly and uniformly tanking,” said Dr. Nelson, “what will emerge is some kind of a shift to more of an ideal of a fuller, plumper woman.”
The concept driving Nelson’s work is that people implicitly judge the overall availability of “resources” in the environment—both cash and food—based on how much of it they themselves have. This assessment, in turn, influences their choice of a romantic partner.

What is it with scientists and economists? Most people do a job, and do it to some degreee of competence. Despite being the eternal optimist (oh yes), I am beginning to wonder if either of these groups can save the planet or the economy respectively.0

If I had lost my job and felt depressed. I'd settle for a fatty.0

Surely a thinner lady would be cheaper to feed.0

Maybe the scientists equate skinny women with being high maintenance, and expensive, and chubby women with being low maintenance, home bods who love home cooking.

Having been all sizes from too-thin to too fat, there is a definite point at which to self and female friends one is looking too well covered but the approach factor from men increases. Recession or otherwise.0

Yep, same here, and we all know why (bigger boobs)...Please stay safe in the sun and learn the A-E of melanoma: A = asymmetry, B = irregular borders, C= different colours, D= diameter, larger than 6mm, E = evolving, is your mole changing? Most moles are not cancerous, any doubts, please check next time you visit your GP.
