i'm ashamed to admit this but i've never made dumplings before

(i am more of a throw it all together person, i rarely use recipes)
how do you make them for both microwave AND normal cooking?
for the microwave do you just form little balls and then nuke them?
founder of Frugal Genius UK (Yahoo Groups)0 -
Same recipe for both.
2oz (50g) Suet
4oz (100g) self raising flour.
Pinch of salt
Water to mix.
Make six if you're going to nuke them (3 - 3.5 mins on high) and four if you're going to boil them (twenty mins) or slow cook them (one hour).
If you're going to make sweet ones - add 1oz (25g) sugar and use milk instead of water to mix. Same cooking rules apply.
If you lose the recipe or the instructions, just remember they're available on the be-ro site, or in your be-ro book.Hi, I'm a Board Guide on the Old Style and the Consumer Rights boards which means I'm a volunteer to help the boards run smoothly and can move and merge posts there.
