Possesion Hearing no show - what now?

Thanks for all your replies, we did think that vol repo might bring up this problem and rest assured we will not be signing any doa or similar to takeownership of any shortfall!!
re the council tax, I know we will have the 6 month exemption which will expire in aprilish, BUT as they HAVE changed the locks does that not indicate that they HAVE take repossesion? Therefore its just a matter of ensuring that we sign nothing from the lender etc re the shortfall and just let the matter take it course??
The lender has been writing to the old addy and mail has been re-directed we have informed of new addy as the court and OR are corresponding to new address -should we contact the lender or just let things take it course??
Re the solicitors costs etc, the lender knew about the VR well before any solictors or court action was instructed so maybe there were more pressing cases!!
I could write to the solictor rather than lender and ask for update - what do you think??
Thanks
