Do You Do Adsense

A quick question. Any of you guys out there with blogs or websites do adsense?
Why do I ask? Well I've a number of blogs and sites myself and and make a few dollars of them - I'll not get filthy rich but it does help put Christmas over
and I was wondering if there are any Money Savers out there making money online.
At the moment my stats seem to indicate that blogs updated at least twice a week are producing the most money, I was wondering what others think. Though I must admit that unless you go full time at it anymore than three decent blogs is hard to manage.

Hi, I have adsense, I got it for a new blog that I update roughly 4 times a week, they also sent me a code to put adsense on any other blogs or sites I run. I'm new to it all so havent started earning yet and as I am really busy with other projects I could probably promote my blog/sites more but all in good time - hth.Thank you for this site MartinThe time for change has comeGood luck for the future0

If your website gets popular adsense can really be worth while.
I attempted it myself a couple of months ago, by starting up a health and fitness blog. I never really got around to keeping it up to date.
I think the best advice I can give you would be to post your articles on:
ezine articles and go articles with a link to your website.
If your article get chosen it will boost your website in google pageranks and will drive more traffic to your website.
If anyone has made any decent money on this I'd like to hear from them, but I think most of the money from these websites come from affiliate marketing.2 Wins so far: £1000 on Kurt Geiger Shoes, Ben Sherman Gift Set0 -
I make money from adsense, I run a directory for UK shops and services which is reasonably popular. I have a number of other sites in competitive arena's, finance and mobile phones and I get decent amounts per click because of the competitiveness of the niches I am in.0

This link has been posted in this forum before (it's where I first saw it!) but it is very relevant to this thread. The guy is giving free step-by-step details on a forum as to how he is aiming to make $100 PER DAY from Adsense. It is well worth a read, but bear in mind it isn't the kind of thing anyone can do without a LOT of effort.

Save-a-lot hit the nail on the head - find competitive niches. I've spent the last three months researching exactly this, so I can set up full time across multiple sites (Adsense along with affiliate income).
From what I've read, it is a fairly haphazard, not to mention unsuccessful, approach to write a blog and then try to monetise it afterwards. So much depends on the competitiveness of the niche you choose, and also the wording used in your web domain name, blog filenames and indeed the text within each blog post. Of course, the post has to read naturally for us humans, while also being irresistible to search engines.
ricriley's advice about promoting on Ezinearticles and Goarticles is also on the money, especially as anyone taking your articles off these portals ends up posting them with backlinks to your blog.
I should say that I have blogs and other projects that don't make a cent through Adsense - so I know how NOT do it! lol. But those were set up before doing any research. So hopefully I'll post here again in the future with which methods worked and which didn't!
(Oh the other thing is time and 'sticking to it' - it'll take a few months to build up enough quality traffic.)______________________________Darth Traderusing the Force of Compoundingsince a long time ago...0 -

Only problem with that thread is that it has over 1000 posts (including lots of ones just saying "great thread") - if you go direct to his $100 per day challenge blog you can read the steps he took (in order) without all the clutter.

He is currently at $20 (£14) per day on average after almost 3 months, so while a nice extra income (and hopefully rising over time) don't expect to get rich.
Still even at that rate it's an extra £400 per month or £5000 per year - took some work to get there but that's not bad. If you can build 5 or 10 blogs on various subjects and earn an average of £14 per day from each one that could end up providing a nice full-time income.........eventually."The happiest of people don't necessarily have the
best of everything; they just make the best
of everything that comes along their way."

If anybody is interested this seems to be the address of the blog that all the shouting is about

Do you think he'll make $100 a day from this, I must admit I don't see anything special about it.
