Please where can I find uncovered armchairs?

Hi - hope somebody out there can help.
I'm looking for new, uncovered armchairs suitable for me to cover in my own fabric. I know that there are companies that will cover their chairs with your fabric but I want to do the upholstery myself. I'm convinced that there has to be a company selling 'blanks', just covered in calico etc.
I'd be very grateful as I'd really like to cover a chair for my mum's bedroom - she'd be so chuffed!

Have you looked in Ikea, as I think they sell the chairs / sofa's separatley to the covers.

Or look on e-bay at a good quality chairs with looses covers, e.g. Multiyork chairs, you can get some really good bargins and then just take off the original covers and make new ones.

Worth a look.

Thanks Jog - I've thought about Ikea, will look into this further. I just thought there must be a company who supplies uncovered chairs to upholsterers/interior decorators etc.
