All of the mini photo printers can be expensive to run though - around 40p a print, anyone selling 'compatible' ribbon/wax refills yet?.0

Agree with ManAtHome. Have an older version of this and hardly ever use it. Costs @ £20 for a refill pk of paper (40sheets 6x4) and ink cartridge. Handy if you want to print a few off in a hurry and very portable, but not very economic. Find the ink runs out with still a few sheets of paper left too.**************************************

These Dye Sublimation printers are now selling at much reduced prices based on the Polaroid principle, sell them cheap and get it back on the paper costs.
The Canon range imho is the cheapest on paper, as cartridges cost around half the price of the Sony, Kodak, etc ones. usually £9.99 a pack. one thing that is cheaper here than in the States.
