Where can i buy cheap white vinegar?

I need about 2 litres of white vinegar to de scale a tefal quick cup kettle.

    I'm sure some other posts recommended Asian groceries/supermarkets for selling large quantities cheaply.

    Your local Indian or Chinese wholesalers, 5lt drum for about £1.50.

    2 litres is a lot to descale a kettle! You can use brown vinegar, it doesn't have to be white icon7.gif

    I only need 1.6 litres.
    Instructions say to only use white vinegar.

    You don't need to fill the kettle! Just a little in the bottom to cover the element will be enough. Last time I used cheap orange squash, boiled up in the kettle, the citric acid in it removes the scale.

    Only problem is its a tefal quick cup kettle.
    The vinegar has to sucked through the workings etc...
    Its one of those kettles that heat the water in 3 seconds.

    Oh I see! Ask on the old style money saving board, I think they might be able to advise you how best to do it, and the cheapest way of course!
