Impact of girlfriend on credit rating

Hi,

My girlfriend recently moved in with me and I'm aware that she has missed the occasional payment on her Debenham's card. Luckily this didn't stop RBS offering her a credit card to which she's transferred the Debenham's balance.

I have a mortgage and credit cards and can see myself applying for further credit in the summer. I have never missed a payment.

My question is what impact will my girlfriend have on my credit rating?

Do you have any joint accounts with GF? if not, do not set any up and her credit rating will not affect you in any way.

    Hi,

Thanks, no joint accounts and no intention of getting one so I hope I'll be ok.

The only other way your credit rating would be affected would be if you apply for quite a few things at once. Or if you have a large amount of credit, stoozers are being affected by this at the moment, even though they have not missed payments.
I would suggest checking your credit file yourself.
