Gilesport Closing Down

Went past Gilesport in Cheltenham today and noticed that they are closing down! Apparently they've been bought out by Sports World. Anyway - just to say that they are currently offering 30% off everything in store. Got myself some cheap Animal stuff!

In Stafford we used to have an Allsports, Gilesports and a JJB ...

Now all is left is JJB ... oh where has the competition gone!

Same here - Allsports gone, JD Sports Gone, Gilesport Going - will only be JJB and Sports World left!

The Swansea branch of Gilesports is also closing down. Bought some cracking Adidas running shorts/vests there yesterday both with 30% off :j

Not sure but i thnk sports soccer is now sports world (lillywhites too).

My local sports soccer has re-branded as sports world, told by staff member this was due to the fact sponsorship from umbro has now changed to Lonsdale (which explains why you used to be able to get cheapumbro stuff and its mainly all lonsdale now.

My husband used to love ltd edition/exclusive Lonsdale gear - then Sport s World started selling it dirt cheap - and now he wont dare wear it! So vain!

Dixons Sports in the White Rose Centre Leeds is closing down and i've managed to get some fantastic bargains this week , including a squash racquet with a rrp of £139.99 for just £28.50.

Allsports is also closing down there too
