Hi
Do you and you GF share the bills and is this reflected above?
Do you really have £111 left at the end of the month?
Is your debt yours or is some of it shared with your GF? If so, you really need to review both of your spending and work out how to pay this debt together.
Very important questions, I think.
One thing that struck me is that there is NOTHING in your SOA for groceries.
You do have £200 in for 'other child related expenses' - is that maintenance for children from another relationship or is it actually food costs?
If the £200 is in the right place and you've missed out grocery costs, that will explain why you might not have any money left over at the end of the month.
Lots of good comments about some of your expenses.0 -

Demonmeister wrote: »Hi All,
Been a frequent viewer of this site, but thought I'd post to see if anyone can help me.
I'm not being chased by anyone for any debts and I'm managing to make my payments (even if they are the rock bottom minimum), but I don't like living on this knife edge..
I'm very new to all this, so any help anyone can give me to getting myself to a position to having a little extra free cash each month would be a huge bonus.
I keep hearing about an SOA before anyone can really help, is this a statement of some kind?
If so, where do I get it from and then I can post up and you can tell me if the situation is as bad as I feel it is or if if there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
I'm just so fed up of everything and it's beginning to affect my job at the bank...I work for HBOS which as you know isn't doing too well... I work in the I.T sector so I'm not to blame for all the bad stuff going on...honest!
As as result, they have scaled down overtime (which I used to get occasionally but not often) to zero.
At a rough estimate I own £25,000 on a 10yr personal loan and about £10,000 split between x2 credit cards. Both are interest free, but the Virgin one is due to run out in May I think... then the payments will go up a bump (current debt is about £8000 on that).
So all in, I owe approx £35,000 on a wage of £22500.
Please, can anyone help me as I'm so, so down...
:-(
Thankyou...
Hi demonmeister,
I am knew to this site too. I started last week cos I was due in court on the Thursday for a charging order on my house. Didn't have a clue what it was, never envisaged in my life I would even get to this (have a degree and a PhD, thought I was guaranteed work but have been out of work for over 12 months ), but do you know what, things happen, and its happening to a lot of us, don't feel alone, don't feel ashamed cos its happening all over . Asked folk on this website for advice/experiences etc and I was overwhelmed by the responses and support and I it really made me see just how many of us are in the same situation. I have spent so long beating myself up about the situation I am in, felt really shi**y about myself. But we cant all be wrong!!! Its life, whatever we owe, we will get through it, bolloc*s too it its only money! We still have our health, our family and or loved ones (and the moneysaving website et al, which is a bloody god send!). We are all in the shi* together. Keep your chin up chuck, ask for advice take it on board and you will get through this!!, guaranteed. You only have to look on this website for the insporational stories/proof. Some things are meant to test us.....and they make us stronger people.

Well, I put things into context/perspective. Mostly like this: does Mr Brown feel guilty about hocking us all off, future generations with debt, other things? So, when you think about it we are all trying to live, make ends meet yet there are those in the world who for some £1 million a year is apparently not enough to survive on. As for the bankers who brought the world to it's knees, they did so without one ounce of 'guilt' or conscience or they would never have done so. Don't even get me started on what I read on Ceefax last night about bankers turning to 'teaching to learn about morals'.
So, yes context and perspective. Hope some of that made sense. The only difference being is people like Gordon B get plenty of support and aren't every likely to be struggling anytime in their lives. See my point?
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

No, I just see the reality behind all the BS.
