I hated the prepayment meter I had a few years ago. I had it installed to pay off a debt and the lowest they would set the debt tarrif was £12 p/w plus there was a £1.80 charge per week for the meter. I was all electric at the time and during the winter months when the heating was on I could easily be putting £40-50 a week into the stupid thing.Come ride with me, through the veins of history...
