I used to use these years ago when me and my ex made wine. It's great fun and quite easy really.
The beer I made a few weeks back should be nearly ready."Stay Wonky":D

lol...........wouldn't say that Buffy! :rotfl:
I bought OH a 40 pint beer barrel and a kit 3 Christmases ago. 2 Christmasses ago I bought him a load of the tins to make more beer - enough for 120 pints over 2 different kinds. He did one lot (well, I did!) and he never bothered again so I took the bull by the horns and made up a kit about 6 weeks ago. The worst bit is cleaning the barrel as it gets scummy sediment in it but apart from that it's just chucking liquids together and waiting. I don't faff around with beer making equipment like fancy thermometers etc and so far, there's never been a 'bad' barrel but it's a bit luck of the draw I guess as to how it turns out. Can't see the point in buying beer with the stuff there to make 120 pints!
I can't stand beer.........._pale_"Stay Wonky":D

Hiya - I ran 4.5 miles :j
That's my longest ever outdoor run, and I'm soo happy because I really wasn't feeling great, but I just ran very steadily. The first 2 miles really hurt, but then I got into a rhythm, and I think I could have carried on a bit.
My aim is to do 5 miles next weekend. I will hopefully have my iPod Touch and Nike+ sensor by then.
Ohh, and I've registered on Fetch - Bunny and Sammy, I've added you two - is anyone else on there?
I know some people mentioned they didn't know how to add buddies on there - you type their name into the search box at the top right, and then change the drop down box underneath to 'users'. That makes it do a user search. When you're on their profile, you just click the little icon that looks like 3 little people, on the same red bit as their username."I wasn't wrong, I just wasn't right enough.":smileyhea97800072589250 -
