Marks & Spencers - buy furniture online and not in store

In January of this year I made the mistake of ordering a sofa in a Marks & Spencer store. I was asked to pay up front at the time of making the order and I was given a delivery date of 7-8 weeks. I have since found out that if I made the oder on-line my credit card would have only been charged two weeks before delivery (and not 7 weeks before delivery as per their in store policy).

I am now having to pay my credit card bill and I am still waiting for a delivery date so M&S will have had my money 2 months before I receive the goods.

Therefore it best to visit the store to pick out the furniture you want and then go online to order it.

Regards ... stueriley
