just stumbled across this forum, im new.. hi guys. Just thought id drop a line.
basically im overdrawn by £1500, and barklays are now going to start piling on the reserve fees as ive gone just over 1500 and its beginning to get me down. payday is two weeks away. from reading posts by others my problem may not be as bad as others, but leaves me feeling a bit fed up, and a tad tearful. i finished uni summer last year and i do have a job. my monthly wages only just get me out of the overdraft but its not long before im back in it again. im fed up cus i dont know where my money seems to go! im desperate to get back in credit again. how can i do this?
would really appreciate some advice... just want to get straight

No comment, really.
Any help, opinions, views I may hold those are my own. Respect them as you would expect the same in return. Offered freely, is gleaned from a lifetime of experiences, knowledge gaining. Passed on to benefit others. I may be direct, ask you questions but those are to help you. Up to you if you choose to take it. I won't judge you either way.

Hiya - you're in the right place - have a look at the thread for new DFW's (debt free wannabes) HERE and if you post your SOA, we can have a look to see if we can help.
In the meantime, if you want a bit of light relief, join in the daily chat thread - it's not really money related, but will give you a giggle and help you feel at home here.

Why don't you open a basic bank account, have your salary paid into that and then work damn hard to pay off the other overdraft - that way you will stay in credit on your basic bank account and get rid of other easier. I assume you don't have any other debts? When you were born, you were crying and everyone around was smiling. Live your life so at the end, you're the one who is smiling and everyone around you is crying! :rotfl:0

Welcome to the forum Becz. Sorry you are feeling bad. Congratulations on taking the first step on sorting your OD out. It is one of the hardest parts of turning your finances around, admitting to yourself that you need to. Let alone announcing it to the world. The next bit is to review your spending to try to reduce it. You will find plenty of helpful people and posts on here for that.
Good luck and keep posting. The only stupid question is the unasked one...
