Just wanted to share my expereince of these sites so far. I've bought many items including car insurance and still awaiting - 5 months on - payment of cashback.
I've heard all sorts of excuses why this hasn't happend but the fact remains I've not been paid.
Clearly someone is holding the money owed to me as consideration earning interest but it isn't me. My personal opinion is dont bother. The only people winning out of it are the so called cash back providers.

            Hi
I use Quidco and it has been fantastic
I have only had 1 claim turned down, some cash is paid within a couple of months - some takes forever (NPOWER) but I have been paid >£350 over the last 2 years.
Well done Quidco!0 -
I've had amazing service from Rpoints (lost faith in Quidco and Rpoints match the best rate anyway) and made decent savings on home and car insurance as well as other online transactions.
Which cashback site(s) have you had bad experiences with?0 -
Topcashback and with E Sure insurance. From what I've just read from others, E Sure are not honouring their obligations.0

When I first started to use Cashback sites, I had loads of problems, then realised why. I had used two different email addressses. I only use a particular email when I want to use my bank account, but had registered on the cashback site with my regular email. Therefore the 2 did not marry up. Once I realised this, and used my bank "email" for the cashback site everything started to work properly.
Hope the above makes sense0 -

Been over 5 months now. How much more time should I give? It was my first experience (doing the car insurance) through a cash back site and this has put me way off. What I dont understand is if E sure aren't paying up, why are Topcashback still allowing them to conduct transactions through their site? That is very poor indeed as it's just duping people. I'm not alone - there are pages of comments from other users on the Topcashback website who also made transactions the same time as me.0

I've had £1141 out of quidco in two years so is great, I just do my new phone contract in october and home insurance and partners phone and holiday etc through it. Spacecowboy did you make sure your cookies were clear before proceeding? If you logged onto car insurance site via a price comparison site and then went through cashback site without clearing cookies then insurance company has 2x claims for the sale. If you first went via comparison site then they will get the money and cashback site won't.0

Yep cleared the cookies. They have tracked it fine in Topcashback its just the payable part of it that doesnt seem to be happening. As I say, there are now pages and pages of comments on Topcashback of other members not being paid so its not an isolated issue. I've been in contact with Topcashback who have provided reasons for it not being paid so far ranging from being missed off last months payment schedule to other 'internal' issues. I'm at a loss really but thanks for all your comments. Rpoints or quidco are clearly the way to go.0

Not all cashback web sites are a waste of time, most do pay. Many dont pay as much as some others they like to keep YOUR money
However all due to the way affiliate networks work do pay many months after the order had taken place, and then only pay assuming you reach the minimum payment.
5 months is more than is normal though, even Quidco who is regarded by a lot of people on here have had payments taken over 9 months although to be fair its not the norm
I use topcashback and when it hasnt tracked properly I have raised it after 7 days and each time they have paid0 -
I use Quidco & Topcashback and have been paid everything owed from both. One payment with Quidco took about 9 months (car insurance) but I didn't mind too much because waiting 9 months is better than not getting cashback at all. All other payments have been approx 3 months.0
