Hi
Received a letter this morning stating that I had ignored a CCJ and now the bailiffs had a warrant to enter the house and remove goods such as TV blah blah.
The problem:
1) this debt is for a storecard which I have been questioning the credit agreement, within the last year. It turns out that the company registered the CCJ against my old address a year ago even though I had been in correspondence with them at my present address for a year before the CCJ.
2) The CCJ wants me to pay 3 x more than the minimum payment I couldnt make to start with.
3) They will not supply me with any documents for this account.
4) What can the bailiffs do?
Any advice would be greatly received

Hi
is this normal bailiffs or High Court Enforcement Officers.
The ordinary sort have no right to enter your house other then peaceably. That means you do not open the door to them and you keep all windows and doors locked at all times.
You have may well have grounds to get the CCj overturned, because the creditor knew your new address and failed to use it see here http://www.nationaldebtline.co.uk/england_wales/factsheet.php?page=12_how_to_set_aside_a_judgment_in_the_county_court
