If you have a big pot you could boil them on the oven in water and a little powder. I remember my mum used to do this when we were little.

I used to boil nappies in a special big pot, but anything else just fill the sink with hand hot water, soap powder, and squeeze gently and rub the stains, then rinse 3 times and wring out as hard as you can.

You could pre soak in vanish or oxy. when you have rung them out as best you can. its a good tip to lay in a bath towel and roll the towel to take away any excess water
