Lloyds CC and f&f offer

I owe Lloyds £13.500.00 on a credit card and they sold the debt to Bryan Carter & co. I had been paying £50.00 per month but am not working at present. They phoned last week and said it was going to court. I called them as the debt rose to £14500.00 including interest ( at 8% ) and court charges. I have a bit of money I got from my pension and am trying to pay off as many of my creditors as poss. I already have 2 who have taken out charging orders so I cant get a full and final from them and a number of the smaller ones I am requesting CCA's from at present. So I called Bryan Carter last week and he gave me an offer of £11500 and then went down to £9000.00. I called him today to make an offer and offered £3500.00 ( I can go to £5000.00) but he said he could not accept that and they would only drop the proceedings if I paid £150.00 per month. He then changed his mind and said he meant £1500.00 per month!! I asked what would happen when it got to court as I would only be able to offer about £25.00 per month so what would happen then. He would not say they would accept it but said they would probably go for a Charging Order. What shall I do?? I said I would write with another offer over the weekend but I need to keep a bit to try to pay off some of the smaller debts aswell. Advice please!!

HAve you got proper advice from a debt charity?

And given the current situation, somewhere in your documents, you will have the default letter for this debt?

Please can you remove your personal details and scan it and post it up on here or on flickr?

Then pm 10past6 and ask him/her to look at it.

Whe is the court date and do you have any court papers yet?
If you've have not made a mistake, you've made nothing

I am trying to find the default letter at present ( my papers are in as much of a mess as my life!) I have had advice previously from CCCS who told me to try to pay off one large creditor and a few small ones with f&f when I got my pension money. I have about £7000 to play with. The court letter are dated 3.3.9 so according to Bryan Carter I have until 1.4.9 to respond. I am going to go online today and respond by acknowledging receipt and asking for the extra 14 days. Get back to you later.

    Hi rose28454,
You don't say whether or not you have received the CCA from Lloyds yet?
This could be critical,as if they can't produce it then you may well be able to negotiate a much lower F & F with Lloyds.
If they are taking you to court i assume they have the CCA or perhaps they are bluffing?
    Good luck
