Expenses Shown on pay slip

Hi everyone
This is my first post and I am a bit nervous.
I am going BR in two weeks time and I am not sure about what to put for my income.
I receive a cash allowance of £30 for every time I stay away from home for my job, this is for meals etc.
In total it works out at about £300 per month. If I don't stay away from home then I don't get anything.
On my pay slip it is printed as non taxable pay,do I have to declare this on my SOA if I do should I put my meal expenses on as well to show what I spend the money on?
Many thanks

I may be wrong on this but I would put down on your soa the £300 per month under essential items and explain what it is for, you can then include the £300 as income in your SOA. You can then explain this to the OR during your interview.
Is it every month you get this? You tried your best and you failed miserably. The lesson is 'never try';)

Thanks for your reply.
I only get this when I am away from home. Some months I might only be away
for five nights so I would only get £160.
Thanks

If thats the case the OR would look at an average (usually 3mnths payslips)We all die. The goal isn't to live forever, the goal is to create something that will0

I get different expenses every month. I did not put them on my forms as they are not income. The OR did not query this as it shows as tax free and is therefore a reimbursement of money you have paid out.0

We are in the same situation my husband gets £150 - £300 expenses a month for travel and we are not going to include it in the SOA as it is reimbursement of money you have paid out. It's shown clearly on his payslips as expenses.
Thanks for your post milesr as that's very helpful to know that your OR didn't query it.0 -
Does it matter though that i get a set amount per night and that it is shown in the net pay box on my payslip ?
Thanks0 -
I also get a set amount per night, and it shows in my net pay. Leave it off and explain it is a reimbursement if the OR asks. As I said mine never even mentioned it.0

Many thanks.
Also I have 3 ccj's. Does anybody know what will happen to these?
Thanks

I agree with milesR it isn't income so I wouldn't declare it and if asked that is what I would say. If its wrong they will let you know however I would argue it.
Regarding the CCJs I think they will still be on your credit file but you won't have to pay anything towards them as they will be included in your BR.
