It's the ever increasing gap between the rich and the poor under this Labour government (you have to say it with a Neil Kinnock accent).0 -

"Most" people aren't affected by the recession. Most workers still have their jobs, benefits havn't been cut. Most workers won't have suffered a pay cut. The economy is only shrinking by a few percentage points - it's been growing by a few percentage points every year previously, so it's just a matter of going back to where we were a couple of years ago. Interest rate cuts mean people will be paying smaller mortgage and loan repayments. "Some" people will have been very badly hit, i.e. those made redundant, those who've bought a house/shares at the top of the market, etc., but most people will barely even notice the recession.0 -

Had a look at his last 'performance' on youtube in 2006, this tour is going to be awful

I'm sure it will be great 'car crash' entertainment though, and what better way to realise how fortunate you are to be a sane, normal human being, than to go and watch wacko jacko perform.
Saw him at wembley, brilliant concert would recommend anyone with the ticket money to go along.0 -

Caused by the very few at the top getting substantially richer not the mass in the middle and bottom getting poorer. Even the people living in "poverty" tend to have flat screen TVs and SKY. Its hardly hand to mouth.
If Warren Buffet and Bill Gates decided to live here the gap between rich and poor would increase substantially. I wouldn't feel any poorer......0 -
Strange how it's the usual doomers who reckon this is a waste of money....

You personally wouldn't pay 3 pounds. I reckon that'll cut Jacko to the quick,
I don't expect he could give 'a tuppeny toss'.0
