I wouldn't think vouchers and freebies count as an income?

I didn't think so either. Especially as most are in the form of gift tokens. I declare my ms but that is different.

No, I didn't mean the freebies - I just meant when I get payed out in cash from certain sites, that would count as income - sorry for the confusion - I wasn't implying a Cravendale magnet was interesting to the inland revenue!!!
  • Cravendale magnet? Where??? I want one :rotfl:

So from sites such as ciao you declare your cash? I don't! They're only tiny amounts anyways, unless i'm doing something wrong!

I must admit it did cross my mind to declare the cash, especially now I have gone SE for ms. Also when some amounts are quite good, like £50+ from Pureprofile. Will need to debate that one.

Well, with things like YouGov it may take a while, but it's £50 - and Lightspeed are paying out in Paypal now, and I get a lot of surveys from them - it mounts up. I'm a gutless wonder, so I always declare everything.

I think the Cravendale magnet was about a year ago actually - but it seemed like the most absurd thing to declare on a tax form!

It is only really important if it goes beyond your tax allowance, if like me you dont work.As that is something like £3,000 or something like that,it would take an awful lot of work to get that much.
Yougov can take so long too.Wouldnt you have to declare the amount per year? I have been with them about 3 years and its still only £38
  • I randomly found this website called Take Paid Surveys
through justtheanswer.com (which apparently uses confirmit.com software for their surveys).

According to the website, they only supply surveys from companies which use https://www.confirmit.com software. However, I have never heard of this website before and would like to know if anyone else has had any experience of it before I join in.

To re-iterate, the website is Take Paid Surveys

    Thank you for your help!
  • Okay, call me stupid but how on earth do you sign up to Pinecone? Are they any good?

    *Edited because I can't spell.
