Do you know why I found Manchester unsettling.....its because for the first time in a long long time, I actually had a night out with people I liked........not people who I am friends with cos their friends with husband, or friends you have made from work, but people who actually know more about me than most people (including me own husband!) do. I didn't have to pretend - just be me and it was nice...

And as much as you lot (and me) put yourselves down quite a lot none of you are hard work :rotfl:

Thanks Sammy - I WILL tell them that actually. :)

What have you been doing for the last 3 and a half hours?

My friend has been round who is severely anorexic (but thinks she looks great) and is very very depressed, and while I feel for her I really do and I will do anything to help anybody - there is sometimes nothing you can do for people. I can't find her a husband cos whenever you say he looks nice he says 'but he is five foot seven' so what my husband is five foot four....he is still a nice person:mad: there is always a but to a suggestion.

And she asked if I had time to paint her nails....!!!!!!! If had time to paint nails I would do me own

Do I sound like a mean cow now!

DH is on the phone to his mate, who was supposed to be coming round tomorrow night. Sounds like he's cancelling, which means I might have been able to do something much more exciting :(

Well done on the run Spud, but I am confused about^^^^ does that mean if he had stayed in you could have done something interesting without him:confused:

Afternoon all, just quickly popping in before I go out for a run, to say I went to Mevagissey

ooooooooooh, I had a wonderful holiday near Mevagissey many years ago.

Christmas week in a cottage at Gorran Haven, right on the edge of the harbour, Mevagissey is the nearest town. Not the best place in the world to try to negotiate a Mondeo through the streets - the roads are very narrow in parts - but as normal, I wasn't driving but as it was my company car, I was a bit  about it getting damaged!

I'd love to go back, Cornwall is lovely out of season.

    Hey up all.

Sammy sorry to be self indulgent AGAIN, but i just ran the same run i did the other morning which i reckon to be about 4 miles. Now tonight I started off a little more quickly and felt fine, on the downhill bits this time I ran faster on purpose, 3/4 of a mile of it is up hill, and the last bit which must be about 3/5 of a mile a really put the hammer down and i finished in 29 minutes! Which sounds about right but nevertheless just over 7 minutes miles which sounds pretty good. So I think I have the distance wrong, mine is accurate up to about 2.8 miles and the rest I have estimated. I must get one of those things you stick on your trainers. Igoing out again in the morning but just a nice slow run, in fact i may even go for a nice brisk walk. ANyway

Mrs S - You know I have some experience with Aspergers and Ive not read the whole thread but are you looking to yourself for shortcomings? I know you know youshouldn't but is sadly inevitable when you caught in amongst all the frustration. Bless you my love you have an awful lot on your plate to deal with and you know you are coping admirably. Keep your pecker up love x

BB - I like Gorran Haven too I was tempted to drive down to it but I didnt.

So, we all having a drink tonight then or what? :D
