Just a thought, but do you think it is worth starting a thread that people can post links to where people might need help from DFWs?

A lot of people post on other boards and get a nasty or less than friendly response.

I wondered if a thread here to alert us to people on other boards who could do with help would be a good idea?

There are a lot of boards I rarely look on, so I probably miss a lot.

    Just a thought...............

afternoon all - just munching lunch after getting in from work.

Bunny - Egypt is amazing, I've not been to Sharm, but I did a Nile cruise with my ex 10 years ago. It was April and around 30 each day. Did all the touristy stuff - Valley of the Kings etc and my ex sold me to a local for 1000 camels! :rotfl: He said he only needed 2 because the garden wasn't big enough for any more!! The local chap insisted on having his photo taken with me , I'm probably still being paraded off as one of his wives now :rotfl:

I will be 'partying' of sorts on here tonight, because the kids are with me this weekend and I don't know anyone who can babysit. Although I'm not sure my sore throat is up to much alcohol!

Spud, the first few times I went running, I did it somewhere I knew hardly anyone would see me. Once you can run more than a few metres without your lungs burning (that feeling is horrible but it does pass after the first few runs), you will probably find you feel a lot less self conscious. I don't really mind where I run now, and I'm still rubbish! :rotfl:

DH wants to go up to the park area, literally 2 minutes up the road

I wonder if he'd reconsider. It's OK for him, but I know over 200 of the local children and would be mortified if I saw any of em :o

Hmm...let me think where else we could go
