Hi Have you tried freecycle. You maybe able to find a hoover or dyson?
Just go to feecycles website, register for your local area and anytime someone posts an item your interested in or need, e-mail them. If they decide to choose you, you just collect the item. Its all free and a brilliant way of recycling items no longer needed. I have collect baby gates, a single bed, freezer, rabbit hutch.. all sorts over the past few years and its saved me alot of money.
Hope this helps:beer:0 -

Dyson may have what you need, try this page:

Do NOT buy a dyson it will not last 2minutes! they run hot and are waste of time and the plastic breaks easily.
If you can afford it buy a Numatic Henry.
IF you shop around they are usually on offer at about £80 + free delivery.

They do differnt colours. They are extremely hard wearing, robust, and great suction.
Okay they take paper bags but they are cheap enough and large so can fill alot.
I have had one for last 5yrs and that was passed onto me by my mum who had it for 10yrs! Still going strong never had anything go wrong with it.
They are the industry standard and used by many cleaning companies. For that price it will last for many many years. I know people who have had them for 10+ yrs and no probs whatsoever. Worth spending the extra pennies rather than spending £50 on a cheap vacuum that will not last 2mins!If you found my post helpful, please remember to press the THANKS button! --->0 -

Have a look at Cdiscount I purchased a Henry from them a couple of days ago for £89.99 and they let you spread the price over 3 months, I'm sure they had a bosch cylinder on for around £40 if thats any use to you.0

I got one of these from Argos a couple of weeks. Even though I have not got a pet it has good suction guaranteed for 6 years. I paid £65. Hope this helps.0
