I doubt I'm asking this in the right part of the forum as it is really a question about dishwashers, but it involves Stardrops and this is the place to come for help with Stardrops......

I use vinegar instead of rinse aid in the dishwasher, works fine. I left DH in the house alone last night (worse than leaving the kids on their own!). Today my dishwasher is full of bubbles. Everywhere. I couldn't understand why, or get rid of them.
DH came home from work tonight and told me that the dishwasher had asked for rinse aid last night so he had poured a load in. I said we didn't have any and what had he used?
He has filled the rinse aid holder up with stardrops:eek:
Does anyone have any ideas as to how to get rid of it? (stardrops that is, not husband........although I am sorely tempted....) Is there a way to 'flush out' the stardrops that is so obvious that I can't see it, or am I just going to have to spend loads of time and pennies running the rinse cycle for the next few days?
In hope...........
