yeah really glad ive stuck to it this month its been a little tough at some points but its so fantastic coming towards the end of the month knowing that i will be in credit and that im not going to be overdrawn. :j if dont have to pay out for the blender that me and my mate broke then ill be about £10 up, if i do have to pay out it will be about £2 up.

Either way im really proud of myself for sticking to my budget :D

Well done you guys - you have some determination thats for sure!!

March is going to have to be a tight month for me, as April I have a wedding to go to (which I need a date for if any one is interested!!) :0) - so that will be expensive, car hire, hotel, present, new dress - all essentials of course :0)

There are exactly 4 weeks between paydays for March (for me), and I was going to budget £50 a week, but out of this I will try and save my £36.50 (which I need to save each month between now & July) so that I can buy ANOTHER i-pod before I go travelling.

All of my sat job earnings will be paid into my travel fund (£60 a sat) on top of money from ebay..

£20 a week sounds a bit tight - is this for food too??!! Well done guys - you are fab - gonna miss you when I go !! xx

    Hi Ms london,
I gave up on the new dress per wedding thing a few years ago and now have my trusty wedding outfit which gets pulled out every time. It's expensive enough for the present and hotel and one shouldn't compete with the bride.....

Can you share the hire car costs with anyone?

It's the first wedding ive been to since I was 6, and dont have anything suitable!! Found a nice dress in Next, was going to wear it & sell it on ebay afterwards.

Unfortunately not, there is a guy that I dated for a while that will be travelling from London, but since he dumped me & treated me bad, I wont be offering to give him a lift :0) - he can catch the train!! hehe!! That will be fun seeing him again, not!!

The hotel is around £60 for one night - I know its a one off, and I wouldnt miss it for the world, but all this money could really come in handy for my travel fund. Oh well, shouldnt moan!!

    xx

If you need a nice dress, try boden. If you go through Quidco, you get cash back - there are always LOTS of deals on (look the online vouchers forum) and they sell much better on Ebay than Next stuff. I bought a beautiful dress for baby fairylights christening in the summer in their sale. RRP £75, cost after cashback, free delivery, and sale price? £19. THERE'S a bargain!

So you lived on about £2.85 a day.
That's really interesting if it includes food as well.
Did you batch cook meals to take in to work with you?
