if there are missed payments from 2001 he may have to wait another year because adverse info takes 6 yrs to clear off the file. Also he should maintain up to date payments on his capital one card but leave plenty of credit available on card so he can build up recent credit history therefore lenders will see this.
Is he on the electoral role ?Debt Free Since September 2005!
