I just tried to sign up and after pressing submit I got a page full of errors. Someone else mentioned having this problem, did you receive a confirmation email or anything indicating the request had gone through?0

Thanks to the OP...I signed up a few days ago and got an email through earlier advising of jobs available in Northampton. I've signed up to work on Saturday - though I haven't received any welcome pack yet.
VickyHurn - I'd be interested to know how today went for you. Also what did you wear? The email says "dress for the weather" so other than that I guess there is no particular dress code?0 -
OK so back from a Long day on our first job,
Here is a review for those considering this
1: Its probably not the easiest money you will ever make, its tiring work, our shift was 12 hours (7am to 7pm), with 2 hours paid break 2 * 1/2 hour and 1 hour lunch, so working for 10 hours.
We were beside a busy dual carraigeway in Leicester, working in a team of 5, in a coned off outside lane, A police officer would wait for us to deal with the vehicles we had and then direct in 5 more vehicles for interview, we had to ask each driver details of where they came from and where they were going, and why. (Address and Postcode of Start and End of journey). Catagorise vehicle types and number of passengers.
Most of the drivers were friendly and willing to give the information, if they were not you just stepped away from them.
It was a cold wet day, the company supplied a Long sleeve High Viz jacket, but we wore Ski Jackets and Gloves under this and were nice and toasty all day.
If you are interested in dealing with the public and don't mind long periods standing outside then the pay is OK (This job was £84 for 10 hours working + Travel expenses). Well worth a go if you think you would enjoy it.
Photo from today.
Hope that helpsOver 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -
Is it just a one off job Vicky or is there a chance of more work?“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0

I was asked to do another job for them today, but already had other plans, so could not do it.
A lot of the people there were regulars, and they said the work is ongoing but there is a lot more in Summer than Winter, as you can imagine. So hoping to see more work from them going into Summer, A lot will depend on how far you are willing to travel, like anything I suppose as they get to know you and find out you are reliable more work will be offered.Over 100k miles of Electric Motoring and rising,0 -
Thanks for the info Vicky.
I sighed up to these yesterday and was offered 3 jobs almost straight away in Northampton. The shifts they offered me were only 4 hours long which is enough I think to start off with for me. I was a little scared to except at first but thanks to your info i might just except one of these jobs now.:DNothing to report:p0 -
Anyone in Bristol been offered anything? I would prefer a 4 hour job, so hope there's something going.“A budget is telling your money where to go instead of wondering where it went.” - Dave Ramsey0
