advice

My wife and myself fell behind on our loan payments so we applyed for a reduction for 6 months this went well, we then set up to continue the reduced repayments for 6 months now its all gone wrong. The bank takes out the reduce payments when ever thay please then go ahead and take anything from £30-£500 as thay fill fit .This has happened 12 times in a three month period when we ring the bank thay appoligise and say the money will go back in our account within 14 days some weeks this leaves us nothing and we have to fight for our own money. We have been to our local bank manager and she cant believe what is happening and adviced us to seek citivens advice. The question is is it worth seeking advice the bank is helping me one way with the reduced payments

    tuffs,

Only solution would seem to be to open a second 'basic' bank account and have your wages/income paid into there.

You can then only transfer to your current account enough to cover your agreed payment.

It would be worth writing to complain, particularly if you have incurred bank charges as a result.

    Good luck
