seriously it will be a hard time for all of you, but time heals they say and its true. your memories will be with you forever.. enjoy those and take care

Sorry Pash, I won't mention them again ;) it's just that my collection of lilac bags on my shelf looks slighly empty another 4 and it will be complete ! :p I could boot them, but decided to half use them and then flog them on ebay :rotfl:

Seriously, though my Nan died in January and at the time I posted that I would donate my items from the TD/DR Boots offer to the old people's home that my nan had stayed during her last few weeks; which I did. They then raffled the items and paid for an outing for the people who live at Orchard House.

Anyway, today mum has been really weepy - she'd seen signs for mother's day and of course it's the first one without her mum and she has been very down since Nan died. So after work today, I made up a lovely large hamper with SC face masks, TD wipes, DR face cream, Botanics wipes, Botanics 5 min mask, EI handwash, No.7 creams, and of course a lilac bag. Mum was delighted with her goodies and has set aside a day of pampering tomorrow. Which means, I am lilac bagless as I have given the my other 2 away as presents so tomorrow will replace my one.

Sorry, didn't mean to ramble on but it gives me a buzz to get these items AND an even bigger buzz to share them with family and friends.

Does anyone know if Boots nappies are still 2 for £7.50

They were yesterday. I got those and also the Smile Toothpaste is still BOGOF if anyone is interested in that. I have enough tampons, nappies, toothpaste and handwash to last a good while.

Quite so. Thought this was supposed to be a 'Grabbit' thread...getting more like the Boots Arms lately. Where's that Board Guide with the 'Off Topic' placard?
