I took it back to Boots and they tested it - and it is my skin that's reacted (they did give me £15) but am now using fab no7 eye gel that mummysaver recommended earlier and it's sorted it out almost overnight!
The thing that usually sets me off is shampoos and conditioners - IIRC the Organics or Pantene one turned my hairline really red (just thinking about it is painful!).
This No 7 Eye Gel - is there a similar cream version? This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

and have done since about 6 months after ds was born (now 3 1/2) and it mainly affects my scalp, back of neck and around those lines on my neck (sign of getting old or too many lindts..not sure which
)
When I were a ladof 18 - and mens toiletries consisted of shaving cream and hair gel - I didn't bother with anything apart from soap. Then suddenly had a very drying reaction to some product, and my face became so taut I thought the skin would crack. Went to the doc and was given some emolient cream (it stunk!) and then finally bought some Simple Lotion - oh the relief!
Thankfully nowadays, there's plenty of toiletries for the boys too and there's no silly stigma about moisturising and wanting to look your best. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

Ooh, and just so I'm still keeping my post relevant to Boots, they still have their vitamins on 3 for 2 if you do want to buy some0 -

No EI voucher and no No7 tanning voucher.
How long have you had your AC? If several years, you should be getting offered plenty of different promos.
Only thing you can really do at the moment is try another machine or try another store and see what you get offered.
Longer term - get yourself another card (easy to do) and see if you can "up" your offers that way. Also buy a large variety of different cheap purchases - this MAY convince the Boots computer to bump up your voucher offers.

Sorry if this is a bit off topic but to any of you with skin problems on your face it may be due to your shampoo. after having baby savings girl I had rashes all over my face and was told it was an allergic reaction. after cutting out practically every food group (which didnt help!!) I changed my shampoo and the improvement was instant. It was the Simple range that I was reacting to - how weird!! Anyway, I now use tresemme and my skin is normal. Hope that may help someone xxAuntie Savingsgirl 24/9/06 :j0

I can't use the simple range either - it brings me out in red blotches - thought it was only me as there is supposed to be no purfume or anything added to that range.0

I had a fantastic day in Wigan Boots yesterday.
I got:2 x No7 Pre Holiday Mini Skincare Treats BOGOF so £5.50 then used £5 No7 voucher so 50p.
No7 Sun Protection Glossy Locks Hair Spritz and Sun Protection Shimmering Lip and Eye Screen, £5.50 each on BOGOF then used No7 voucher (seperate transaction) so 50p.
9 x Bodyform on 3for2 so £8.52 then used 9 £1 off vouchers.
No17 wipe and free brush - £1.99 with 200 points.
Also got SC mask fo 89p plus 100 points
Used 75 points off £7.50 spend.
So in total spend £3.40, got £40.65 worth of stuff plus 388 points plus new No7 voucher. Went away very pleased!
My favourite SA was working, if anyone goes in she is mid 40s, blonde hair in ponytail, slim, works usually on top floor near door. She is always really nice and congratulates me on my bargains.
I did try and pay for the mask with points but noticed doing this would not allow me to use my points voucher.
I realised also that for a No7 free gift it is ok to use BOGOF items that make the price less than £15 as long as they reached £15 before e.g. two items for £5.50 don't work but I reckon two items for £7.50 would definately work.
I noticed in the clearance section they had boxes of 5 Skin Clear masks reduced to £1.49 - so with 100 points off would be 49p, which is obviously not free but 10p a mask isn't bad if they've run out of the single ones.0
