Hi there,
I'm not sure if this is the right section for this post but in this current economic state it seems fitting. If you have any small money saving ideas please write them here.
Here are a couple to start with.
Put a 1.5 Litre water bottle full of water into the toilet cistern and each time its flushed and refills you will save 1.5 litres of water. so if the toilet was flushed 5 times a day then thats 8 litres saved a day, over 50 litres a week.
Put a large barrel in garden to catch rain water and use that to water plants.
here are a couple of really stingy ideas.
Charge your mobile at work if you allowed
Wait until you get to work for hot drink, have juice while still at home
I hope these little tips help out.

Have i stumbled into Viz magazine's website by mistake?
I always remember their classic tip: Don't waste money buying rich and creamy yoghurts; buy the cheap crappy brands instead and stir in lard to thicken them up.0 -
Probably better posted on the Old Style board - all sorts of money saving, frugal ideas over there.
I keep looking - get inspired to keep a family of 5 on £20 a week, then something happens between spirit and flesh.
Money saving is discussed, debated, argued, disagreed, pontificated, shouted about, laughed over, usually in terms of houses, banks, the general economy and how we (not collectively) can save the world from itself. And it's all in the Best Possible Taste!!
But we aren't really a practical bunch in terms of actually saving money by changing our lifestyles, other than sell to rent, buy to let etc, - we leave that to those that can!!! Kidding.0 -
Keep the bottoms of your trouser rolled up, then if you get a hole in your pocket, your change will fall into the roll ups.

Sorry, but anything like this is wasted on the high flying industrialists that frequent this board.Freedom is not worth having if it does not include the freedom to make mistakes.0 -
Save money on a TV Licence...
Buy a radio and close your eyes.
Save money on car expenses... Walk.
Save money on house expenses.. Squat.
I could carry on but I won't.0 -
You need to find a money saving website for that really.
I don't know if anybody round here knows of one.0
