    Best idea I think there!

Crumble-wise: what is your ratio of ingredients? I've tried both my mum's and MIL's recipes and one is too powdery and the other too clumpy, so was just wondering really!

I do roughly 4 ounces of butter, 4 ounces sugar, 6 ounces of flour, I'm gutted now I'm not having it, although I do have some bananas and the banana, date and mincemeat crumble I made last week was lush.........hmm....think I might do that instead......

Glad to hear you've got an alternative lined up! That sounds a good ratio, so will make a note and have a go sometime soon! Thanks!

there will be plenty go go around! I've just used up all my bananas as they were starting to smell a bit 'pear drop' and some dates. Also added a couple of prunes, and will add the mincemeat when it's almost cooked.
