Maxwell house coffee - where's it gone?

Have they stopped making maxwell house coffee? It's the only one MIL likes. She used to buy it in Asda then Iceland then Home Bargains but all have stopped stocking it. Anyone seen any anywhere and if not any ideas for a similar taste as she hates nescafe??

Yesterday was my monthly shopping day and I visited Mr. T. Mr A. Local Costcutters and no Maxwell House. Went into a Spar and found it. The Jar has been changed and New Taste was written on the label. Perhaps this is why its been so hard to find recently.
  • This problem has been around for a while, this is the only coffee my sis will drink. So I always call her when I see it.
I have found that Sainsburys is the only place with a constant stock. I have just checked online and its £3.98 for 200g jar
sorry, this is for the red jar (powder) If its the Blue Jar (granules) tesco online have them on offer £3.00 for 200g jar

Theres no dollar sign on piece of mind

So if you agree have a drink with me, raise your glasses for a toast

From today (12th) it's available at Netto on offer at £1.99 with 100% free.
    So, a 200g jar is £1.99.

Maxwell House coffee seems to disappear from the supermarkets as soon as they 100% free offers finish. It finished in our local Tesco and Asda a couple of weeks ago, now the normal sized jars are nowhere to be found. Probably see them disappear from netto's shelves in a few weeks.
